Karis Grove
Owner/ Head Trainer
Hi! I’m Karis, a dog trainer with 20 years of experience, 13 years specializing in behavioral modification, and certifications as an AKC evaluator, service dog specialist, and puppy raiser. I started training with my own dogs, and that love for working together grew into a career helping dogs overcome challenges and become confident, happy companions. Outside of training, you’ll usually find me enjoying playtime, long hikes, and adventures with my dogs, because my love for dogs is at the heart of everything I do.
Edisa
San Antonio Manager/ Trainer
Edisa has been training with Karis for over 10 years, starting with her own dog, Carbon, whose reactivity inspired her passion for helping dogs gain confidence. She has a special gift for guiding shy, insecure, and fearful dogs into happy, well-adjusted companions. For the past 5 years, she’s been the head trainer at Fetching Freedom, helping families strengthen their bonds with their dogs. Outside of training, you’ll find her working out with her husband, hiking with her dogs, or sharing coffee with friends.
